Date: Saturday September 15th
Departure Time: 9:15am
Once again the Lord has blessed us with a beautiful day. I hope and pray that it’s an uneventful one.
Two miles down the road we turned right. Fezz’s Diner was our breakfast destination.

Minutes after being seated, Lee exited the restaurant to eat some of the cinnamon bun she’d bought from Wendy, neighbor of Big Oak Motel, before we left. Returning she pushed a balled up napkin across the table. I opened it and inserted its’ contents into my mouth. “Wow, amazing.” Wendy knows how to make cinnamon buns!
RT 6 E out of Coudersport was smooth with a 55 mph limit on much of it. The flat tire yesterday had me spooked so it took me a while to relax.

At Mansfield we turned onto RT 15 N, a divided highway. Past Corning, NY we exited for Bath.

At NAPA a second battery was purchased to eliminate the need to charge during our final leg the following day.

After picking up some groceries we worked our way through Hammondsport and headed up the lake.

It was approximately 2:30 pm when we arrived at HAFUNLAND, Jeff and Jodi’s creation. Everything in the picture below was created by them and there’s more planned. They, along with Ray, a new Guzzi rider, and two other riders welcomed us.

After chatting a while Jeff showed me an extension cord, telling me to plug in.
Wood fired pizzas were served and devoured.

In Bath supplies to wash Bubba and the trailer had been purchased. I had planned on other maintenance tasks as well. Once I sat down to relax doing anything else lost its appeal.
A number of customers came in, many talked with us about the trip. I spent a lot if time talking to Turbo, a man with incredible mechanical skills. He showed me his Audi in which he installed a Volkswagen turbo diesel and set it up to run on used cooking oil.

As business slowed just before dusk Jeff gave us a tour.

LEE IN THE MYSTERY MINE
Jeff walked us up to see Hillbilly Henge, a life size recreation of the real one. Even the alignment is correct.

Back at the house we unloaded, got settled in and caught up over a bottle of Riesling.
